Over the last 6 months Tim peak has been in space doing his mission to orbit the world.

He’s been staying healthy over a whole 6 months doing fitness, eating healthy and running marathons. This 44 year old has been in space for 6 months once he came out of the spaceship he couldn’t walk so he had to stay in a wheelchair over a period of time.

He landed in kazakhstan and said a speech to the people around him.

He’s been doing backflips marathons and more yet you wonder how he does this.

Plan Views

This week, week 7 term 2 at school after morning tea I went to the mat like normal and Mr A said for the plan views people to stay on the mat. So I stayed on the mat and talked about whether we've had enough work on it and I said yes. So Mr A gave the people who said yes to having the hang of it a really hard worksheet. E.G a plan view is a view from the top view, left view, right view, front view, back view sometimes bottom. You use it on a cube model and show the faces. Heres a picture.

                    

Reading update

Reading update on Puss, Puss, Puss

On the 3/6/16 I was reading a book called Puss, Puss, Puss. It’s about a family bringing their cat to te papa. The family were walking up to te papa with their cat then the cat had knocked open the cage and started to walk into te papa when the family had lost the cat. They had lost the cat in te papa the Mum screamed to get the cat with tears coming down her eyes. The second the cat had got into te papa was the second te papa was being closed for the day. The next day the family came back to find their cat they looked through every exhibit till they went to the last exhibit which was the sea exhibit. They had a look at the giant squid and one tentacle wasn’t there till they had a bigger look and there the cat was chewing on the missing tentacle.

Term 2 Week 4 Reflection

This week learning my new maths goal was difficult rounding using compensation with multiplication. At first I had no clue how to do it till I went to Mr Anderson's workshop and then I learnt how to do it even with decimals. I’m proud of myself for learning how to use decimals with rounding and compensating with multiplication I’m super proud of myself. I've improved on my maths goal rounding using compensation with multiplication because now I know how to do it and I know how to use decimals. I’m enjoying getting better at this goal because when I learn a new strategy it makes me want to learn more. It shows that I learn strategies quicker if I go to a workshop.

River Safety

River Safety

If In Doubt Stay Out

If you're at a river and you doubt it’s safe stay out e.g if you think you are going to hit something don’t risk it or you might be at a cliff that everybody else jumps off and you think you will get harmed stay out.

Know Your Limits

Know your limit don’t do things you can’t do and you need to know your limit so you don’t go overboard and get injured so stay on or under your limit. e.g if you don’t know your limit and you go to jump off a diving board and you think you can’t do it don’t do it. If you know your limit you wouldn't do and go back down to the bottom.

Be Supervised

Always go with an adult so if something happens and someone's there to help for example you might get injured in the water and someone is there to help.

Plan Your Trip

Before you go to a river plan it tell someone you're going and tell them when you get back also check the weather if it is bad or good weather.

Check Before you start

Check if it is deep enough for jumping e.g if you went to a really high cliff first go down to the bottom to see if it is deep enough if not don’t jump.
