Best thing that has happened at school this year.

On the third of December 2016 frankley had a fun day.

It was so cool, leading the little kids to succeed, teaching them how to play it was so fun.

We were doing mini putt. There was a year 1 that went up next and got the 9 point ring. “Whoa”. I screamed. I bet you that he went home and couldn’t stop thinking about it.

“Hey guys we can’t let these dudes win again.” Fred grins.

“Who should we take in our team?” Pete whispered.

“John, luke, Jax or James?” Fred lists.

“Hmmmmmmmm,” Pete hums. “James,” Pete said Thoughtfully.

“Ok,” Fred yelps.

“Who should we get?” Conner questions.

“John, Luke or Jax?.” Jack asks.

“JAX!!!” Connor yells.

“Ok,” Jack says.

“We better get some sleep if we want to win,” Conner explains.

“Ok good night,” Jack yuan's.

Meanwhile Fred and Pete plan something evil for tomorrow's game.

A Robot Rampage

Here’s the first part of the story

“Hey where’s my robot lawn mower.” Hemi thought to himself.

“AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Screamed the people in the city.

“O no what have I done.” Hemi whispers to himself.

Hemi had ran as fast as he could to get to the city to tame his robot. This robot had been tearing roofs off houses and splitting the city in half like it’s paper.

“Where’s that little robot.” says Hemi. “I hear the army.” whispers Hemi. “O there he is.” Hemi yelps. Hemi sprints over to the robot. “Hey am I aloud to borrow your gun.” Hemi explains.

“Sure thing.” says the military guy. Hemi takes severals shots until the last second. BANG!!!

Metal shatters absolutely everywhere. Hemi had got home just in the nick of time because his Dad has just come out the back to see whether the lawns have been mowed.

Christchurch

In the term 2 school holidays I went out to Christchurch. We went to places like orana park the antarctic center and the malls. It Was awesome. I wish I could go again.

W.I.T`

This is me Xay and Will doing W.I.T, W.I.T stands for wildly important tasks. Our W.I.T was to make rubbish free lunch boxes so kid can't litter, because there it no rubbish to litter

My coded game is about star wars, you play as both droids C3PO and R2D2 and if you hit the walls you will lose points. If you hit a stormtrooper you lose points same with probots. If you get rebel pilots or puffer pigs you get more points.

Storm troopers add every time you hit one same with rebel pilots. My favorite part is it is super hard to win. Click here to play it.

            Bricks Man Experience

At the bricks man experience in Hamilton the first thing I see is a colossal flower with life size thing around it. Things like dog’s, gnomes, mushrooms and more. Then when you turn the next corner all you see is a massive bunch of Lego. You see life size cars, cruise boats, plans pictures and way more. My favorite is the giant Lego pictures THEY’RE SO COOL!!!

Ghostly Forest

I walked through the ghostly mist as the terrible wind chucks me to the ground. All there was to hear was silence until I hear the words go before it’s too late. I started thinking over and over and over again what was that? Who said that? Where are you? I got confused what's going to happen. I was petrified in less than a minute I started to get goose bumps and my teeth started to chatter. The trees shattered every step I took but why was is it only when I take steps why not when I lye down. Now I finally found out what it meant.  

War Story

Tic tic tic tic BANG!!! Sparks flew right up at my eyes as the gassy fire surrounds me. All I could smell was gas blinding me. I felt like I wasn’t gonna make it out.

“Get down get down” I screamed as the flaming hot fire strikes.

I whispered to myself I couldn’t get out of here I’m going to die.

Lego Marvel Avengers Part 1

Text structure 11/5/16

SMASH!!! Hulk rampages down the cold snowy wet mountain destroying Hydra's base with the rest of the avengers stopping Hydras evil schemes.

Thor flies straight to a defence destroys it and the people using it. Black widow comes ramming through on her S.H.I.E.L.D motor bike with captain america on the back defending himself and Black widow.

The level begins you kill the Hydra agents get through place to place till you make it to the Hydra base and destroy all of the defences and the base to stop Hydra's pan. Then you get through to the next level.

Level 2 (Entrance Of Loki)

BANG!!! Loki appears shows up kneeling holding his staff  threatening the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D to hand over the tesseract. The S.H.I.E.L.D agents weren't that dumb to hand it over but Loki was more powerful then the agents so he injured the agents to get the tesseract. Loki had mind controlled Hawkeye and the scientist because he needed someone smart and someone powerful than the avengers had to chase them down in a jeep.

Level 3 (Let's Play)

Captain America makes it to the S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier and walks into the gym and starts to practice some fighting moves. You get to play as his memory in the past with Bucky Barns fighting Red Skull. In part b your on a train and the wall blew up and Bucky fell out then grabbed onto a pole, Captain tried to save him but he fell and everyone thought he had died but he didn’t he got brainwashed and turned into winter soldier and started to working for Hydra.

Level 4 (can’t remember name)

Captain America and one of his friends that work for Hydra rampaged onto a Hydra boat their mission was to stop it. They made it to a security system and Captain threw his shield at the surveillance camera, then they ran threw and destroyed one of the defences, and jumped across to the other side and killed some agents. Then they get through to the mane controls and shut the boat down.

Level 5 (can’t remember name)

Bruce banner known as Hulk fell down a room in the helicarrier with Black widow. Hawkeye got mind controlled so he worked for loki so he blew up the helicarrier in the part where all of the agents and avengers were. Bruce banner when he gets angry he turns into hulk and something came down off the helicarrier and fell on his leg and made him super angry. Black widow was down there with Hulk and Hulk started to rampage the place. Hulk started to chase Black widow all around the show. When you play you play as Black widow you jump over loads of obstacles while hulk chases you and try not to die. Then you go to the next level.

Level 6 (Avengers Assemble)

All of the Avengers gather into a part of the city and get ready to fight against loki and his army. The Avengers split up and they all fight the army Hulk, Black widow, Hawkeye, Thor and Iron man with the twin Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Hulk gets to Avengers tower and versis loki by smashing him over and over again on the ground while the rest of the avengers is attacking the army.

The Avengers Won The War then loki got banished into asgard.

I recommend this game because it’s Really Really

Really fun.

Over the last 6 months Tim peak has been in space doing his mission to orbit the world.

He’s been staying healthy over a whole 6 months doing fitness, eating healthy and running marathons. This 44 year old has been in space for 6 months once he came out of the spaceship he couldn’t walk so he had to stay in a wheelchair over a period of time.

He landed in kazakhstan and said a speech to the people around him.

He’s been doing backflips marathons and more yet you wonder how he does this.

Plan Views

This week, week 7 term 2 at school after morning tea I went to the mat like normal and Mr A said for the plan views people to stay on the mat. So I stayed on the mat and talked about whether we've had enough work on it and I said yes. So Mr A gave the people who said yes to having the hang of it a really hard worksheet. E.G a plan view is a view from the top view, left view, right view, front view, back view sometimes bottom. You use it on a cube model and show the faces. Heres a picture.

                    

Reading update

Reading update on Puss, Puss, Puss

On the 3/6/16 I was reading a book called Puss, Puss, Puss. It’s about a family bringing their cat to te papa. The family were walking up to te papa with their cat then the cat had knocked open the cage and started to walk into te papa when the family had lost the cat. They had lost the cat in te papa the Mum screamed to get the cat with tears coming down her eyes. The second the cat had got into te papa was the second te papa was being closed for the day. The next day the family came back to find their cat they looked through every exhibit till they went to the last exhibit which was the sea exhibit. They had a look at the giant squid and one tentacle wasn’t there till they had a bigger look and there the cat was chewing on the missing tentacle.

Term 2 Week 4 Reflection

This week learning my new maths goal was difficult rounding using compensation with multiplication. At first I had no clue how to do it till I went to Mr Anderson's workshop and then I learnt how to do it even with decimals. I’m proud of myself for learning how to use decimals with rounding and compensating with multiplication I’m super proud of myself. I've improved on my maths goal rounding using compensation with multiplication because now I know how to do it and I know how to use decimals. I’m enjoying getting better at this goal because when I learn a new strategy it makes me want to learn more. It shows that I learn strategies quicker if I go to a workshop.

River Safety

River Safety

If In Doubt Stay Out

If you're at a river and you doubt it’s safe stay out e.g if you think you are going to hit something don’t risk it or you might be at a cliff that everybody else jumps off and you think you will get harmed stay out.

Know Your Limits

Know your limit don’t do things you can’t do and you need to know your limit so you don’t go overboard and get injured so stay on or under your limit. e.g if you don’t know your limit and you go to jump off a diving board and you think you can’t do it don’t do it. If you know your limit you wouldn't do and go back down to the bottom.

Be Supervised

Always go with an adult so if something happens and someone's there to help for example you might get injured in the water and someone is there to help.

Plan Your Trip

Before you go to a river plan it tell someone you're going and tell them when you get back also check the weather if it is bad or good weather.

Check Before you start

Check if it is deep enough for jumping e.g if you went to a really high cliff first go down to the bottom to see if it is deep enough if not don’t jump.
